Ready for the clock change

Well this weekend will see the clocks go forward and the days start to stretch. Its already still light at 7pm so this weekend will really signal the arrival of spring. We've had snow and 17 degrees within the last month so hopefully it will be more of the latter after this weekend.

New Year, new start?

HNY

HNY everyone, although it may not feel like anything has changed except the date of late. Trying times for all and here at Tollie its been quiet with no visitors. At present we are are effectively closed albeit we will take bookings for later in the year so feel free to enquire. Full deposit refund/deferral given if cancellation is due to Covid rules etc.

Over the next few months we hope to get the front deck completed, having started last spring only to be let down by supplies to finish, by which time we had a busy summer/autumn of guests and didn't want to complete when a guest was staying. We did however give the cottage a fresh lick of paint and spruced the garden up , so we hope this front decking area will just finish it off and compliment the existing area at the back.

Stay safe everyone and we hope to see guests both old and new back at Tollie when safe to do so.

Visitors to Tollie Cottage will most likely recognise our wildlife and domestic friends who are regular visitors, cared after in particular by our wonderful neighbour Kathy . More to follow.....

2019 is nearly done.....

A huge thank you to everyone who stayed at Tollie this year and indeed since 2017 when we took it over. This has been our most successful year to date with bookings running to early November. As you may know, we now have our own website ( www.tollie-cottage.co.uk ) and from 2020 can take bookings directly. To all our guests these past 3 years, thank you once again one and all, and we look forward to welcoming you back to Tollie in the near future.

Please check in for regular updates on the cottage, weather, wildlife (Daffy and Donald the Ducks, Phil the Pheasant, Freddie the Fox and Pete the Pine Martin) and any other relevant news :)
